ALL WHITE ALL LIGHT Fashion Show & Horticulture Exhibit

On Saturday, July 1, 2017, I hosted my very first fashion show along with Dirt Salon owner, Cynthia Dodd (pictured below in the awesome hat).

The night began with a VIP cocktail hour, all VIP guests had complimentary drinks until 6PM. As the guests began to arrive in their all white ensembles, Carlos Hernandez Chavez and his crew entertained us with some beautiful live latin jazz tunes!

As we eased into the night, guests enjoyed delicious food catered by Donna Johnson of GAN EDEN and Jasmine Silver tea cocktails from The Green Teahouse.

The CT Fashion Blogger, Yinka Orisan of YoursTrulyYinka.com, our host for the evening and DJ J-Money kept the crowd engaged and excited throughout the evening!

As the night progressed, people shopped and networked with the participating vendors.

The featured FASCHINN collection is called "Classique Collection" simply because I wanted to showcase timeless styles but with an edge. I used classic fabrics such as white denim and chiffon. It featured black and white stripes with fringe detailing. Accents of gold enriched and solidified the finishing touches. Classique is a summer transition collection meant to be worn through the fall or better yet, year round. Here are a couple of my favorite runway shots:

I experienced a variety of emotions during this event from disappointment to joy to excitement! Although I have been apart of so many fashion shows, this was the first show I produced with the help of Cynthia Dodd. For my first show, the turnout was amazing and the good vibes were contagious. Going forward, I will correct my mistakes and celebrate my wins. The next show will be bigger and better, I hope to see you there!
